School dropout is a serious problem in Europe, linked to poverty, migration, bullying, and social exclusion, and it persists despite educational reforms. The yECO project aims to engage young people in social and environmental projects, creating more inclusive and motivating school environments, in line with the EU’s goal of reducing dropout rates to below 9% by 2030.
It emphasizes the connection between formal and non-formal education, empowering young people and youth workers through a toolkit, an online course, and an innovative curriculum. The objective is to share good practices among European countries and multiply effective solutions to tackle school dropout.
